CapitaLand unit to issue S$800M of notes

CapitaLand Ltd. unit CapitaLand Treasury Ltd. plans to issue S$800 million of notes.

The 10-year notes were priced at par with a coupon of 3.15% per year, according to an Aug. 22 release.

The notes are expected to be issued Aug. 29. The net proceeds from the issuance will be used to refinance existing borrowings and finance investments, as well as for general corporate purposes.

The notes will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

DBS Bank is the sole global coordinator for the issuance. The bank is also joint lead manager and joint book runner alongside United Overseas Bank.

As of Aug. 22, US$1 was equivalent to S$1.39.
