Chicago-based private equity firm Green Courte Partners is considering a sale of airport parking and shuttle services provider the Parking Spot, Bloomberg News reported, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
Eastdil Secured LLC is assisting Green Courte for the Parking Spot's auction, but no final decision has been made and the company may keep the business, according to the people.
Founded in 1998, the Parking Spot has 39 locations in 23 airports in the U.S. Green Courte purchased the shuttle services provider for an undisclosed amount in 2011 and had considered selling it for a valuation of up to $1.5 billion in 2017, according to the report. The news outlet noted that the company's present valuation was unclear.
Eastdil Secured declined to comment, while representatives of Green Courte and the Parking Spot did not respond to requests for comment, according to the Sept. 23 report.
