Hong Kong-based C C Land Holdings Ltd. tapped former Landsec director Justin Black to oversee its development projects in the U.K., EGi reported.
Black, the company's first U.K. head of development, will be included in C C Land's recently established subsidiary in the country, which is led by Adam Goldin. He also worked for Brookfield Developments, formerly known as Multiplex Developments, as a development and board director, prior to joining Landsec, EGi added.
C C Land's London portfolio includes the One Kingdom St. building that it purchased in February for £292 million, The Leadenhall Building that it acquired in May for a record £1.15 billion and the 10.3-acre New Covent Garden Market mixed-use development that it bought as part of a joint venture with Guangzhou R&F Properties Co. Ltd.
Aside from property developments, the Hong Kong-listed company said in October that it also has plans to venture into the retail market and shopping center sector of London.
