The Kroger Co. said Dec. 12 that it appointed former Macy's Inc. CFO Karen Hoguet to its board of directors.

Hoguet was the department store operator's finance chief from October 1997 to July 2018, according to the release.

Kroger's board elected Hoguet to serve until the annual shareholder meeting in June 2020, when she will stand for election by shareholders.
