Astra Otoparts Q4 profit falls YOY

PT Astra Otoparts Tbk said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was 8.21 rupiah per share, a decrease of 67.8% from 25.52 rupiah per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 39.57 billion rupiah, a decline of 67.8% from 123.01 billion rupiah in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.3% from 4.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to 3.054 trillion rupiah, compared with 3.077 trillion rupiah in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to 2.932 trillion rupiah from 3.020 trillion rupiah.

Reported net income decreased 38.4% year over year to 139.54 billion rupiah, or 28.95 rupiah per share, from 226.69 billion rupiah, or 47.03 rupiah per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 41.41 rupiah per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 63.34 rupiah.

EPS declined 63.1% from 112.18 rupiah in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 199.61 billion rupiah, a decrease of 63.1% from 540.70 billion rupiah in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue decreased year over year to 11.724 trillion rupiah from 12.255 trillion rupiah, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to 11.348 trillion rupiah from 11.790 trillion rupiah.

The company said reported net income fell 63.4% year over year to 318.57 billion rupiah, or 66.10 rupiah per share, in the full year, from 869.80 billion rupiah, or 180.47 rupiah per share.

As of Feb. 24, US$1 was equivalent to 13,407.50 rupiah.
