Curlew Alternative Asset Management has been granted a €150 million mandate to invest in student and young professional housing in the Netherlands, the IPE Real Assets reported.
The mandate, received from a Dutch insurance company, will be used to primarily acquire new purpose-built properties and conversions through forward funding or forward purchase, the report said, citing a Curlew Netherlands announcement.
The company, which is putting together a seed portfolio, aims to purchase up to six buildings with the mandate, the report said, adding that all the properties will be branded under one name.
