Kasikornbank seeks to open branches in 3 ASEAN countries

Thailand's Kasikornbank PCL is looking to open branches in Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar as part of its overseas expansion plans, The Nation reported Dec. 16, citing President Kattiya Indaravijaya.

Indaravijaya said the bank has applied for licenses to open branches in the three Southeast Asian countries and expects to receive at least one license in 2020. She expects the bank to obtain a license from either Vietnam or Indonesia, according to the report.
