German software company TeamViewer GmbH is planning to list on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by year-end, it confirmed in a statement today.
TeamViewer is owned by TigerLuxOne, a holding company majority-owned by funds advised by global private equity firm Permira Holdings Ltd.
The private equity firm could seek a valuation of €4 billion to €5 billion for TeamViewer, with plans to float up to 40% of company shares depending on investor demand, Bloomberg News reported.
An IPO for TeamViewer could be the biggest for a tech company on the German exchange since the 2000 listing of Infineon Technologies AG, according to Bloomberg News.
TeamViewer develops software for online meetings and remote desktop access.
