Ivy Cosmetics Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to ¥127.01 per share, an increase of 24.4% from ¥102.14 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥503.8 million, an increase of 14.0% from ¥441.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 23.1% from 23.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 15.7% on an annual basis to ¥2.18 billion from ¥1.89 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 18.1% on an annual basis to ¥1.38 billion from ¥1.17 billion.
Reported net income grew 9.0% from the prior-year period to ¥498.0 million, or ¥125.56 per share, from ¥457.0 million, or ¥105.64 per share.
