Seabridge Gold starts 28,000-meter drill program at KSM project

Seabridge Gold Inc. said June 5 that it started a 28,000-meter drilling and surface exploration program for 2018 at the KSM gold-copper project in British Columbia that is financed by the C$19.7 million it recently raised.

While the bulk of the drill work is aimed at testing extensions of the high-grade core zone of the Iron Cap deposit west of the current resource, the program will also look at further defining other KSM deposits.

In February, Seabridge reported a substantial increase in the indicated gold and copper resource at Iron Cap, one of four identified deposits at KSM.
