Japan Meat posts fiscal Q3 profit

Japan Meat Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended April 30 was ¥657.5 million.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin was 2.8%.

Total revenue came to ¥23.57 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥22.46 billion.

Reported net income came to ¥484.0 million, or ¥21.27 per share.

As of June 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥106.25.
