A miner died from injuries sustained in a shaft ore pass accident at Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd.'s Moab Khotsong gold mine in South Africa on May 17, the company said the same day.

An investigation is underway.

In late March, two Harmony Gold workers were fatally injured in a seismic-related fall-of-ground incident at the company's Joel gold mine in South Africa.
