Charter, comScore expand TV data measurement partnership

Charter Communications Inc. and comScore Inc. struck a deal to expand the integration of Charter's aggregated and anonymized TV data from all U.S. markets into comScore's TV measurement service.

The expansion, which covers all Charter Spectrum markets including New York and Los Angeles, includes data from Charter's Spectrum TV Everywhere application along with all Charter Spectrum markets added from Charter's transactions with Time Warner Cable Inc. and Bright House Networks LLC, according to a May 31 press release.

Following the expansion, comScore's TV measurement services will cover more than 35 million homes and 75 million TVs.
