Private equity firm Kohlberg & Co. LLC completed the acquisition of Bemis Healthcare Packaging Europe from Amcor Ltd.'s flexible packaging business unit.

The three flexible packaging plants will be merged with Nelipak Corp., which is owned by Kohlberg. The combined company will operate under Nelipak's healthcare packaging brand.

William Blair & Co. was financial adviser, and Goodwin Procter LLP was legal counsel to Amcor. Lincoln International LLC was financial adviser, and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison was legal counsel to Kohlberg and Nelipak.
