Compañía Introductora de Buenos Aires SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 was 9 Argentine centavos per share, a gain of 21.0% from 8 centavos per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 8.0 million pesos, an increase of 21.0% from 6.6 million pesos in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 6.9% from 8.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 45.0% on an annual basis to 115.6 million pesos from 79.7 million pesos, and total operating expenses climbed 46.5% on an annual basis to 103.1 million pesos from 70.4 million pesos.
Reported net income grew 30.9% year over year to 9.0 million pesos, or 10 centavos per share, from 6.9 million pesos, or 8 centavos per share.
As of May 11, US$1 was equivalent to 8.93 Argentine pesos.
