Following a board and executive team shakeup as part of a structural review, McGrath Ltd. named Andrew Robinson and Peter Lewis to its board as nonexecutive independent directors, with Lewis taking on the nonexecutive chairman role.
The company said founder and interim Executive Chairman John McGrath and the two new board members are working on a new corporate plan, which will include McGrath's senior management structure.
Lewis, former CFO of Seven Group, also serves as chairman of the audit and risk committee at the Australian Broadcasting Corp. and an advisory board member of Anacacia Capital and Gravity Media Group Ltd. Robinson, meanwhile, has a legal practice established in 1982 and has managed and invested in the property sector.
Meanwhile, the short list for the CEO role has been narrowed and the top choice will be announced by the end of the week of Feb. 19, The Australian Financial Review reported. John McGrath is unlikely to become CEO, a role vacated by Cameron Judson in January, but will sit on the board as an executive director, the paper said.
