UniCredit names global head of financial institutions group

UniCredit SpA named Jérôme Frizé global head of the financial institutions group within the lender's corporate and investment banking division, effective Feb. 1.

Frizé, who currently serves as UniCredit's head of financial institutions group in France, will succeed Vincenzo Tortorici, who decided to leave the bank in order to "pursue other opportunities."

Frizé will be based in Milan and will report to UniCredit's co-heads of corporate and investment banking, Gianfranco Bisagni and Olivier Khayat.
