Quantum International Income fiscal Q2 loss widens YOY

Quantum International Income Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 31 came to a loss of 9 Canadian cents per share, compared with a loss of 8 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of C$741,990, compared with a loss of C$51,110 in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income totaled a loss of C$1.2 million, or a loss of 14 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$81,770, or a loss of 13 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
