Tay Two Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Feb. 28 amounted to 11 Japanese sen per share, a decrease of 88.0% from 93 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥5.6 million, a decline of 88.0% from ¥46.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 0.1% from 0.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined year over year to ¥8.59 billion from ¥9.02 billion, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to ¥8.59 billion from ¥8.93 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥1.10 billion, or a loss of ¥21.68 per share, compared to a loss of ¥221.7 million, or a loss of ¥4.38 per share, in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled a loss of ¥3.89 per share, compared with ¥2.83 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was a loss of ¥196.9 million, compared with income of ¥144.4 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue declined 6.3% from the prior-year period to ¥29.42 billion from ¥31.39 billion, and total operating expenses fell year over year to ¥29.75 billion from ¥31.14 billion.
The company said reported net income totaled a loss of ¥1.35 billion, or a loss of ¥26.78 per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of ¥193.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.79 per share, the prior year.
