Carroll, Iowa-based Availa Bank appointed Sean Haluska market president for Carroll, the Carroll Times Herald reported.

Haluska joined the Carroll County Bancshares Inc. unit in 2009 as a loan officer.

Bank of America Corp. appointed Andrew Diedrichsen market president for Reno, Nev.

Diedrichsen will continue in his current role as senior vice president and business banking relationship manager for Northern Nevada, where he serves companies with annual revenues of $5 million to $50 million.

Little Rock, Ark.-based Bank OZK appointed Carmen McClennon to the newly created role of executive vice president and director of marketing and consumer strategies.

McClennon most recently led customer and product strategy at Raleigh, N.C.-based First-Citizens Bank & Trust Co., a unit of First Citizens BancShares Inc.

Norwich, Conn.-based Chelsea Groton Bank appointed Ulysses Hammond to its board of trustees, according to a report on Patch.com.

Hammond served as vice president for administration at Connecticut College from 2000 to 2015.

Frank Simutis is set to retire as a director of IF Bancorp Inc. and subsidiary Iroquois Federal Savings and Loan Association, effective when his term expires at the annual meeting of stockholders Nov. 25.

His retirement is not related to a disagreement with the Watseka, Ill.-based company or the bank.

The boards of the company and the bank have determined to reduce the number of directors by one following Simutis' retirement.

Lead Bank named Sheila Stratton senior vice president and director of digital strategy, the Kansas City (Mo.) Business Journal reported.

The Garden City, Mo.-based bank is a unit of Lead Financial Group Inc.

Santander Bank NA appointed Paul Cronin to lead its asset-based lending business in its commercial banking division.

Cronin's experience includes serving as head of asset-based lending and commercial dealer finance at KeyBank NA, a unit of KeyCorp.

In addition, Santander Bank appointed Arthur Pesavento senior vice president and business development officer in its asset-based lending group. Pesavento's career includes serving as a managing director at Gemino Healthcare Finance Inc.

Santander Bank is a unit of Santander Holdings USA Inc.

Financial Services

Fidelity National Information Services Inc.'s board appointed Christopher Thompson the company's chief accounting officer, effective Aug. 8.

Thompson served since 2014 as the chief accounting officer of Worldpay Inc., which Fidelity National Information Services recently acquired.

Katy Thompson, Fidelity National Information Services' former chief accounting officer, will assume a new role with the company as the finance operations officer.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. hired Jubeen Vaghefi and Denny St. Romain as managing directors in Florida.

Before joining the company, they were focused on debt and equity finance as well as property sales for an institutional brokerage firm.
