Equus secures Cerro Diablo precious-base metals project in Chile

Equus Mining Ltd. acquired the precious-and base-metals prospective Cerro Diablo project, about 40 kilometers north-northwest of the company's flagship Los Domos gold-silver project in Chile.

The company said Feb. 19 that it secured the project via exploration license applications over an area of 4,554 hectares. The project also hosts two small-scale, historic mines known as Mina Alón and Mina Las Cáscaras.

Equus is now undertaking reconnaissance surface sampling and mapping at the project.
