Ressources Quebec Inc unit SOQUEM Inc. updated the resource estimate for the B26 polymetallic deposit in Quebec.
The resource now contains indicated resources of 6.97 million tonnes at 1.32% copper, 1.80% zinc, 0.60 g/t gold and 43 g/t silver.
Inferred resources total 4.41 million tonnes at 2.03% copper, 0.22% zinc, 1.07 g/t gold and 9 g/t silver, according to a March 4 release.
In-pit indicated resources total 811,000 tonnes at 1.48% copper, 0.43% zinc, 0.89 g/t gold and 28 g/t silver, while in-pit inferred resources total 14,000 tonnes at 1.33% copper, 0.01% zinc, 0.19 g/t gold and 2 g/t silver.
The underground deposit hosts indicated resources of 6.16 million tonnes at 1.30% copper, 1.98% zinc, 0.56 g/t gold and 45 g/t silver and inferred resources of 4.39 million tonnes at 2.03% copper, 0.22% zinc, 1.08 g/t gold and 9 g/t silver.
The B26 deposit is open at depth and laterally, and an exploration program is planned this year to evaluate the potential of other mineralized occurrences with a similar signature.
