Moiselle International fiscal H2 profit falls YOY

Moiselle International Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended March 31 came to HK$749,380, a decline of 95.0% from HK$15.0 million in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue decreased 19.1% year over year to HK$214.9 million from HK$265.5 million, and total operating expenses declined 11.0% from the prior-year period to HK$216.6 million from HK$243.4 million.

Reported net income declined 87.0% on an annual basis to HK$2.6 million, or 1 cents per share, from HK$20.2 million, or 7 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 3 cents per share, a decrease of 61.8% from 7 cents per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was HK$7.9 million, a decline of 61.8% from HK$20.8 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue declined 8.4% from the prior-year period to HK$420.0 million from HK$458.7 million, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to HK$410.0 million from HK$427.1 million.

The company said reported net income declined 59.4% year over year to HK$11.3 million, or 4 cents per share, in the full year, from HK$27.9 million, or 10 cents per share.
