S.T. Dupont SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to a loss of €601,880, compared with income of €925,000 in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 4.3% from 5.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 18.5% on an annual basis to €13.9 million from €17.1 million, and total operating expenses fell 6.2% on an annual basis to €14.5 million from €15.5 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of €2.1 million, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to income of €790,000, or 0 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
