Riverside sells stake in dental services group to Jacobs Holding

Swiss investment firm Jacobs Holding AG acquired a stake in North American Dental Group LLC owned by private equity firms Riverside Co. and Abry Partners Inc. and the group's co-founders Ken Cooper and Andrew Matta.

Financial terms of the deal — which was initially agreed to on Aug. 16 according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data — were not disclosed.

Abry Partners, which initially partnered with North American Dental Group in 2012, led a recapitalization of the dental services organization through which Riverside invested along with Abry and the group's co-founders.

North American Dental Group received financial advisory services from Jefferies LLC in connection with the deal, while DLA Piper acted as legal counsel.
