Vodafone Group PLC expanded its 5G network's reach to Belfast in Ireland and Edinburgh, Leeds and the towns of Cheadle, Rochdale and Stockport in and around Greater Manchester in the U.K..
The U.K.-based telecom service also rolled out 5G roaming in five places in Ireland, making it the latest in the network's coverage, which includes Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K.
The coverage expansions came alongside Vodafone's introduction of the 5G multi-operator access network technology, which lets mobile providers share the same base station.
The company had launched its 5G network in U.K. in July 2019.
