Amaze Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended Feb. 28 came to ¥12.09 per share, a decrease of 16.5% from ¥14.47 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥183.8 million, a decline of 16.5% from ¥220.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 7.4% from 9.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed year over year to ¥2.48 billion from ¥2.46 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥2.12 billion from ¥2.06 billion.
Reported net income declined 10.4% from the prior-year period to ¥180.0 million, or ¥11.84 per share, from ¥201.0 million, or ¥13.22 per share.
As of April 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.09.
