Yonga Mobilya profit holds mostly steady YOY in H1

Yonga Mobilya Sanayi ve TAS said its first-half normalized net income amounted to 12.64 Turkish lira per share, compared with 12.62 lira per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 2.7 million lira, compared with 2.6 million lira in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed 7.2% year over year to 25.1 million lira from 23.4 million lira, and total operating expenses increased 9.2% from the prior-year period to 20.9 million lira from 19.1 million lira.

Reported net income totaled 3.4 million lira, or 16.16 lira per share, compared to 3.4 million lira, or 16.15 lira per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Aug. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 2.79 Turkish lira.
