Belluna Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥29.28 per share, an increase from ¥13.32 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.85 billion, a gain of 9.9% from ¥2.59 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 7.8% from 7.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥36.37 billion from ¥35.58 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥32.51 billion from ¥31.83 billion.
Reported net income declined year over year to ¥3.35 billion, or ¥34.41 per share, from ¥3.46 billion, or ¥17.80 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
