Array BioPharma appoints chairman

Array BioPharma Inc. named Carrie Cox as chairman of the company's board.

Cox is currently with privately held Humacyte Inc., a Morrisville, N.C.-based developer of human tissue-based products for use in regenerative medicine and vascular surgery. Prior to being with Humacyte, she formerly served as the executive vice president and president of Schering-Plough Corp.'s global pharmaceutical business.

The company's former board chairman, Kyle Lefkoff, will remain a director of Array BioPharma, a Boulder, Colo.-based company that develops and commercializes small-molecule drugs to treat cancer.
