Accenture appoints chairman for Greater China

Accenture plc said it hired Wei Zhu as chairman of Accenture Greater China, replacing Chuan Neo Chong.

The appointment will be effective Jan. 1, 2018. Chong will continue to work with Zhu during the transition period.

Zhu was previously a managing director with Standard Chartered Bank Private Equity, or SCPE, where he also served as global co-head of private equity. He led SCPE's investment and operations in greater China and northeast Asia and was a member of the bank's global leadership team and investment committee.
