Steve Martenet was appointed president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio.

Martenet will manage Anthem's commercial business and strategy in Ohio. He has served in various senior leadership roles at Anthem, including president of commercial business in Missouri and Wisconsin, and vice president of sales in Ohio and Kentucky.

Erin Hoeflinger, former president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio, was promoted to handle Anthem's East region, including Connecticut, Georgia, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Virginia.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is the trade name of Community Insurance Co.
