Kyoto Kimono Yuzen Co.Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to ¥4.08 per share, a decrease of 81.9% from ¥22.51 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥48.8 million, a decrease of 81.9% from ¥268.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.4% from 6.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 12.6% year over year to ¥3.47 billion from ¥3.97 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥3.43 billion from ¥3.56 billion.
Reported net income fell 63.9% on an annual basis to ¥100.0 million, or ¥8.37 per share, from ¥277.0 million, or ¥23.20 per share.
