Emergent Capital to transfer common stock listing to OTC Marketplace from NYSE

Emergent Capital Inc. intends to voluntarily delist its common stock from the NYSE and plans to trade on the OTC Marketplace.

The company believes it will not meet the standards required to list its shares on the NYSE, and said the continued listing on the exchange is not in the best interest of the company and its shareholders.

Emergent Capital expects the delisting of its common stock from the NYSE 10 days after the filing of Form 25 with the SEC, which it expects to do on or about Feb. 2. The company anticipates its common stock will begin trading on the OTC on or about Feb. 3.
