Blue Hills Bancorp ups dividend by 2 cents

Blue Hills Bancorp Inc. increased its quarterly cash dividend to 5 cents per share from 3 cents per share, payable on or about Feb. 22 to stockholders of record as of Feb. 8.

The Norwood, Mass.-based company reported net income of $4.0 million, or 17 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to $2.4 million, or 9 cents per share, for the year-ago period. Full-year 2016 net income was $8.7 million, or 35 cents per share, compared to $7.2 million, or 28 cents per share, for 2015.
