Italy's seasonally adjusted trade narrowed to €4.73 billion in November 2019 from €6.48 billion in the prior month, data from Italian National Institute of Statistics showed.
Exports dropped 4.2% month over month while imports were unchanged. Exports to EU countries ticked down 0.9% while imports from those countries rose 0.6%.
Trade with non-EU countries weakened, as exports fell 8.1% and imports decreased 0.8%.
In non-seasonal terms, Italy's total exports slid 3.2% on an annual basis. Imports declined 5.9%.
