Ginza Renoir fiscal Q2 profit climbs 18.1% YOY

Ginza Renoir Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to ¥11.27 per share, an increase of 17.8% from ¥9.57 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥69.4 million, an increase of 18.1% from ¥58.8 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 3.7% from 3.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to ¥1.89 billion from ¥1.80 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥1.78 billion from ¥1.72 billion.

Reported net income grew on an annual basis to ¥92.0 million, or ¥14.95 per share, from ¥37.8 million, or ¥6.16 per share.

As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥122.92.
