Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd. said Jan. 26 that recent drilling at the 300E zone within its Eagle River gold mine in Ontario returned wide and high-grade intersections.
Highlights include 28.72 g/t of gold over 20.67 meters (true width) from 143.20 meters, and 89.61 g/t of gold over 3.93 meters (true width) from 204.40 meters.
To date, drilling has identified at least three steeply plunging pipe-like bodies between depths of 800 meters and 1,000 meters. Two of these have been partially delineated and remain open at depth and up plunge, the company noted.
