Jack Henry fiscal Q4 net income, operating income fall YOY

Jack Henry & Associates Inc. reported net income of $61.0 million, or 79 cents per share, for its fiscal fourth quarter, down from $67.8 million, or 87 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018.

The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus GAAP estimate was 77 cents per share.

Total revenue during the period was $393.5 million, compared with $378.3 million in the year-ago quarter. Operating income for the period was $79.4 million, down from $85.0 million a year ago.

Net income for the fiscal year ending June 30 totaled $271.9 million, or $3.52 per share, down from $365.0 million, or $4.70 per share, a year ago. The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus GAAP estimate for the full fiscal year was $3.51.
