Sanei Architecture Planning Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Aug. 31 came to ¥73.20 per share, an increase from ¥32.48 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.55 billion, an increase from ¥689.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 6.2% from 4.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 67.3% on an annual basis to ¥25.08 billion from ¥14.99 billion, and total operating expenses rose 61.9% on an annual basis to ¥22.49 billion from ¥13.89 billion.
Reported net income grew on an annual basis to ¥1.59 billion, or ¥75.13 per share, from ¥571.0 million, or ¥26.91 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥160.51 per share, a gain of 23.4% from ¥130.08 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥3.41 billion, a rise of 23.4% from ¥2.76 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased 20.4% on an annual basis to ¥63.71 billion from ¥52.93 billion, and total operating expenses increased 19.7% on an annual basis to ¥57.86 billion from ¥48.32 billion.
The company said reported net income increased 35.7% year over year to ¥3.46 billion, or ¥163.07 per share, in the full year, from ¥2.55 billion, or ¥120.14 per share.
