Bank of Chengdu raises 10.5B yuan via bond issue

Bank of Chengdu Co. Ltd. said Aug. 23 that it has raised 10.5 billion Chinese yuan by issuing 10-year bonds at a nominal interest rate of 4.55%.

Proceeds will be used to replenish Tier-2 capital, the company said.

As of Aug. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 7.09 Chinese yuan.
