FDIC finds Union County Savings Bank substantially noncompliant with CRA

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. gave Elizabeth, N.J.-based Union County Savings Bank a "substantial non-compliance" rating for compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act, according to the regulator's CRA compliance list released April 5.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth, Va.-based TowneBank, Cordova, Tenn.-based First Alliance Bank and New York-based Bank Leumi USA bagged "outstanding" ratings.
