Brooks Macdonald appoints COO

Brooks Macdonald Group Plc appointed Jason Wood COO.

Wood, who joins the group after 21 years at Schroders Plc, will lead improvements to Brooks Macdonald's technology and operational framework.

The company also appointed Group Deputy CEO Andrew Shepherd managing director for distribution in addition to his current role, effective Feb. 1, 2018.

Meanwhile, Group Finance Director Simon Jackson will step down from Brooks Macdonald's board and will leave the company in April 2018, although he will remain an active member of its leadership team and will assist in the handover of his responsibilities. The group said a process to identify his replacement is underway; it will make an announcement in due course.
