Battery Ventures promotes 4 employees

Investment firm Battery Ventures LP promoted four of its team members in London, San Francisco and Boston.

London-based Paul Morrissey was promoted to principal. Morrissey joined the private equity firm in 2012 and focuses mainly on business-software companies in Europe and the U.S.

In Boston, Dallin Bills and Viraj Parmar were promoted to vice president and associate, respectively.

Bills joined the company in 2015 and focuses mainly on growth-stage investments in software-as-a-service companies, while Parmar has been with the company for two years and focuses on later-stage software investments.

Dan Nguyen-Huu, based in San Francisco, was promoted to vice president. Nguyen-Huu joined Battery in 2016 and focuses on early- and growth-stage investments, mainly in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, open-source software and big-data analytics markets.
