Barbara Bui H1 loss widens YOY

Barbara Bui SA said its normalized net income for the first half amounted to a loss of €1.45 per share, compared with a loss of 64 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €976,250, compared with a loss of €429,380 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue declined 19.1% year over year to €10.4 million from €12.8 million, and total operating expenses decreased 17.9% year over year to €11.7 million from €14.3 million.

Reported net income totaled €209,140, or 31 cents per share, compared to a loss of €762,360, or a loss of €1.13 per share, in the prior-year period.
