Rock Field Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31 amounted to ¥7.11 per share, a gain of 45.2% from ¥4.89 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥188.8 million, a gain of 45.2% from ¥130.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.6% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥11.89 billion, compared with ¥11.88 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses totaled ¥11.59 billion, compared with ¥11.69 billion in the prior-year period.
Reported net income came to ¥113.0 million, or ¥4.25 per share, compared to ¥113.0 million, or ¥4.25 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Dec. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.76.
