CataCap agrees to acquire aircraft support solutions provider

Private equity firm CataCap Management Aps agreed to acquire AerFin Ltd. from CarVal Investors LLC in partnership with the company's management team and co-investor Schroder Adveq.

Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to complete in October, were not disclosed.

The investment in the aviation aftermarket support solutions provider was made by the CataCap Fund II and is the firm's first outside of Denmark.

Founder and CEO of AerFin, Bob James, will retain a significant stake in the company following the deal.

Baker & Mckenzie, Deloitte, and Oliver Wyman gave legal, financial and commercial advice, respectively, to CataCap.

Shareholders of AerFin were advised by A&L Goodbody and EY Corporate Finance, while Grant Thornton and Osborne Clarke assisted AerFin's management team.
