Superior Lake Resources Ltd. drilled high-grade zinc and identified a new footwall zone at its majority owned Superior Lake property in Ontario.
Highlights from the company's current exploration program include 1.56 meters grading 20.12% zinc and 0.8% copper at the Mid Pick zone, and 0.35 meter grading 25.2% zinc and 0.18% copper at the new zone.
Superior Lake said Dec. 18 that these results have the potential to increase the project's current 6.5-year mine life estimated in a previous restart study, increase production and lower costs.
Drilling continues at the property, with further results expected in January 2019. The company also will complete a definitive feasibility study by mid-2019.
