Air Lease files for senior notes offering

Air Lease Corp. has filed a preliminary prospectus for the sale of an undisclosed amount of senior notes due 2022 and senior notes due 2028.

The company plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing commercial aircraft and repaying debt.

The joint book-running managers are J.P. Morgan, Mizuho Securities, MUFG, Wells Fargo Securities, ABN AMRO, BMO Capital Markets, BNP PARIBAS, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Fifth Third Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, ICBC Standard Bank, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Lloyds Securities, Loop Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, Regions Securities LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and TD Securities.

Co-managers for the offering are Bank ABC and Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc.
