CannaSys Q1 loss widens YOY

CannaSys Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter was a loss of 40 cents per share, compared with a loss of 33 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $433,420, compared with a loss of $182,720 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to $36,160 from $9,760, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to $629,310 from $301,880.

Reported net income totaled a loss of $704,250, or a loss of 65 cents per share, compared to a loss of $292,350, or a loss of 53 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
